Thank you for your interest in seeking support from Bayman Texan Energy for your project.

Due to the current economic environment of low oil prices, Bayman Texan Energy will be unable to fund any new sponsorship requests at this time.  This decision will be reviewed quarterly, or more frequently as conditions change. 

We remain committed to our Community Investment strategy and all 2014-2015 existing, committed sponsorships will continue to be honored.

Bayman Texan Energy believes in enhancing the communities where employees live and work, supporting causes and institutions through financial and volunteer efforts.

Our community investment program is focused on three pillars of support: Healthcare and Research, Community Living and Education and Training.
In addition to corporate donations, Bayman Texan Energy employs a policy to match all funds raised by employees for their charities of choice and has contributed to a number of company-selected organizations throughout the years that follow our mandate of giving.

Donations and Eligibility Guidelines

Donation Requests

Bayman Texan Energy strongly believes that we have a responsibility to the communities in which we live and operate, and supports a variety of organizations and events. We receive hundreds of requests each year, and unfortunately cannot support every request we receive. To manage our contributions and provide support to as many worthy causes as possible, Bayman Texan Energy has developed the following guidelines.

Eligibility Guidelines

Bayman Texan Energy supports not-for-profit organizations that meet a compelling need within a community in which Bayman Texan Energy has a business presence and employee base.

Applications must include the following information:

  • National, provincial, or local affiliations.
  • Charitable registered number.
  • A brief history of the organization, its purpose, the significance of its work.
  • Who benefits from it and the geographic area it serves.
  • Description of the specific project or program for which funding is sought.
  • Description of what the funds raised will be used for.
  • If the donation is to be used at an event, the expected attendance of the event.
  • Name of the closest city Bayman Texan Energy operates in.

Due to the volume of requests we receive, we unfortunately cannot accept any phone solicitation. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks to process your request. We will respond to all requests by return email or letter.

  

Advertising Requests

Advertising proposals and opportunities may be emailed to ads [at] baytexenergy [dot] com or sent by fax, Attention: Office Manager, (587) 952-3029. We have regular reviews of all materials and should the opportunity be suitable for us, we will contact you within 4-6 weeks. Should the opportunity not be suitable, we thank you for your interest in Bayman Texan Energy

Children's Hospital

The Alberta Children's Hospital raises funds for excellence in child health and family centred care. Bayman Texan Energy also supports employees in creating a Corporate Phone Bank Team for the Caring for Kids Radiothon yearly. 

Distress Centre Calgary

Distress Centre

The Distress Centre Calgary ensures everyone has a place to turn in times of crisis by providing 24 hour crisis support, professional counselling and 2-1-1 referrals at no cost. Trained volunteers answer over 100,000 texts, calls and emails for help a year.

  

Community Living

Peace Regional Pool

Peace Regional Pool

For the past 5 years, Bayman Texan Energy has been an avid supporter of the Peace Regional Pool in Peace River, Alberta. Our donation dollars along with other supporters in the community allow the pool to have Monday night free family swims, encouraging everyone to get out and be active while spending time as a family.

FABuLAS Society

FABuLAS Society

Text: Bayman Texan Energy Ltd. is please to support Falher & Area Beatification & Leisure Activities Society in renovating the Honey Capital Playground Park in the Town of Falher, Alberta. FABuLAS is a not for profit society aimed at making a difference in rural communities for the benefit of all community members.

Northern Alberta Home for Women Society

Bayman Texan Energy has donated to Aurora Home – Northern Alberta Home for Woman Society’s first project which aims to provide short term accommodation for women as they begin the process of recovery and make dramatic life changes in a safe, caring environment free of abuse or addiction.

 
  

Education & Training

Hillmond Central School

Hillmond Central School

Bayman Texan Energy funds a scholarship for a student at Hillmond Central School in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The scholarship is given to a deserving student who has worked to the best of his/her ability in academics and has been accepted by a post secondary institution in the fall immediately after high school graduation. Congratulations to this year's recipient, Chase McEwan.  

Nampa and District Historical Society

Nampa and District Historical Society

Over the next five years, Bayman Texan Energy will support and join the Nampa and District Historical Society in the development of an oil and gas interactive learning centre at the Nampa museum, in Nampa, Alberta. Our donation dollars along with other supporters in the community will be instrumental in the education of heavy crude extraction methods, safety, training and shipping, within the museum.

Dare to Care

Dare to Care is a not for profit organization working at making every school a positive and bully free environment. The program is the most comprehensive Bully Prevention program in Canada. Dare to Care creates a common language which allows for more consistent intervention and follow through when dealing with challenging issues.
